Meet our local partners

We understand that local people are the experts of their community. Successful, thriving communities are developed with a whole of community approach that acknowledges its First Nations history.
Our Welcome Ambassadors in Cobar
Gordon and his wife Therese (pictured) have lived in Cobar for 33 years and are part of the Cobar Rotary Club. Hear from them below:
“Cobar is a good country town, people are supportive. Welcoming new people is interesting and its new blood for the town. We need skilled professionals in Cobar and with migrants it’s good to see them get a start in Australia!”
Thank you Gordon and Therese for your wonderful open welcome of our two engineers and four aged care workers to your community so far.
